ShopWired Price Rises (Pro Package)

You may have received a notice in your ShopWired account that the price of your package is changing. 

What is the price change?

The new price indicated to you within your account will take effect from your next billing period. The new cost for your package will be indicated to you within the notice displayed. 

Your new price will be automatically allocated to your next bill and you do not need to take any further action. 

Your package will remain the same, and all of the features you currently have access to will remain the same after your next bill. 

Why is the price changing?

The price of ShopWired's lowest package (the PRO package) has remained the same since we introduced it on 16th August 2019.

Over the past 3 1/2 years, many costs associated with providing the ShopWired platform have risen significantly. Whilst we have absorbed these costs in the past, unfortunately as a result of even larger increases over the past 6-12 months we are unable to carry on doing so. 

We have kept the price increase as low as we can. By increasing your price we will be able to continue to invest in the platform's functionality, infrastructure and maintain and improve our existing integrations, as well as building new ones. 

Early in 2022 we made a large investment in platform performance and site speeds. We are continuing to do so throughout 2023, as well as building new functionality (such as a brand new user interface for ShopWired, and a new payment gateway ShopWired Payments).

We're also continuing to invest in our 'best in class' support team and we continue to be the highest rated ecommerce platform for support and ease of use on review platforms like Trustpilot and G2.com.

How does ShopWired's pricing compare to its competitors?

ShopWired's main competitor is Shopify. 

Unlike Shopify, we do not charge transaction fees on the sales that you make and we will continue not to do so. 

Shopify's lowest priced package is £25 per month (Shopify Basic). There's an additional transaction fee of 2% (unless you use Shopify Payments, which is 0.6% + 5p per transaction more expensive than Stripe - the system it is based on). 

After our price increase, ShopWired's equivalent Pro package will cost £34.95 / month but with no transaction fees or inflated fees for using Stripe. 

Another UK platform similar to ShopWired are EKM, who charge £34.99 / month but with either a 2% additional transaction fee (the same as Shopify's) when using external payment gateways.
