"Why Switching From Shopify Was The Best Decision I've Made In A While"

Many of our customers have previously used Shopify, and made the decision to switch to us after discovering the benefits of doing so. We got in touch with Alfie from Candy World UK to get a more personal input on the topic.

Candy World UK is an online store that sells British chocolate to countries all over the world, it is especially popular in countries such as America, Australia, and Canada. Chocolate in countries like this is different to ours as they have to insert a chemical to combat the temperatures. This makes British chocolate very popular, and Candy World UK make it easy to get hold of!

"What was it that made you switch to Shopwired?" - "I switched to ShopWired after doing a bit of research into Shopify's competitors, we'd had a few glitches when setting our store up which left us with a bit of a bad taste in our mouth. We have a 'pick n mix' feature that allows our customers to choose exactly what chocolate bars go into their box, Shopify wasn't able to provide us with this and after consulting with the guys at ShopWired they assured me this would be possible."

"How did you find the switch to us?" - "Brilliant. Simply brilliant. I'm not a technical person at all, my girlfriend describes me as a 'technophobe' actually. The switching tool is really self-explanatory and the instructions weren't at all complicated."

"Have your sales increased since being with us?" - "Definitely."

Since being with us, Candy World UK have been able to add the features they wanted to, with no limitations.
