• What makes ShopWired better than EKM?

• Does EKM have a turnover limit?

  Both ShopWired and EKM have turnover limits on their packages. You can generate a certain amount of sales through your online store before you're asked to move to the next package.

  EKM's £37.49 + VAT per month package has a £50k a year turnover limit, compared with ShopWired's £34.95 + VAT package which has a £75k a year limit.

  The limits on EKM's other packages are also smaller than ShopWired's.

• How does EKM compare on price with ShopWired?

  EKM's basic package is £37.49 + VAT per month, compared with ShopWired's charge of £34.95 + VAT per month. EKM's other packages are more expensive than ShopWired's too. ShopWired is a less expensive solution than EKM, with more functionality and better support.

• Can I use an EKM theme on ShopWired?

  EKM themes can't be used on other platforms like ShopWired so instead you'll need to pick a new theme from ShopWired's collection and customise its look and feel. If you want something a little more bespoke please contact us and we can discuss your requirements.

• Does ShopWired have more options for accepting online payments than EKM?

  EKM has integrations with 19 payment gateways, including Stripe, PayPal and WorldPay. ShopWired has integrations with Stripe, PayPal and WorldPay too but also has integrations with large UK payment gateways like SagePay (Opayo), Barclaycard and finance gateways like ClearPay and Zip Pay. In total ShopWired has integrations with over 40+ UK payment gateways.

• Does ShopWired have better integrations with third parties than EKM?

  Yes. ShopWired has more third party integrations than EKM.

  For product sourcing and dropshipping, ShopWired has integrations with AliExpress, Printify, Printful and XTrader.

  ShopWired has integrations with Quickbooks, Xero, Sage, Kashflow & Clearbooks for accounting.

  For shipping, we have integrations with solutions like ShipStation and Royal Mail Click & Drop.

  And for multi-channel marketing we've integrations with eBay, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, Channel Grabber, Unleashed, Veeqo & Google Shopping.

• What POS solution does ShopWired offer?

  ShopWired doesn't provide its own POS system, instead we'd recommend that you use Vend which is one of the largest POS systems in the world. Your ShopWired account can connect seamlessly with Vend to sync products, stock and orders.

• Will I lose my search engine rankings when my ShopWired website goes live?

  No, there is no reason for you to lose any search engine rankings. If you have a good position in search results then we have some guidance for you to follow when migrating to make sure the process is as smooth as it can be and that your rankings are not disrupted. For more details see here.

• Will customers who have accounts on my website be able to keep those accounts?

  You can use ShopWired's migration system to copy your customer accounts across from your current website. All the customer information will be preserved but they'll need to use a new password to access their account information. We can place a notification on the account login page giving customers an easy way to create a new password.

• Will my site load at the same speed it did before?

  Absolutely. In fact most users migrating from EKM report a quicker download time for their website because of our server locations and overall platform architecture.
