Third Party System Support Policy

Introduction

Your ShopWired subscription fee covers your use of the ShopWired ecommerce platform for creating and managing your ecommerce business.

ShopWired integrates with a number of third party services and websites through our apps, and has functionality that enables you to add other services to your website (such as adding visitor tracking code from Google Analytics).

The subscription fee does not cover services associated with your ecommerce website that are provided by third parties, such as Google.

A list of services that we do not provide setup or support assistance with is provided below but this list is not exhaustive.

 

Google Analytics

ShopWired can help you add tracking code to the correct page within your ShopWired account but cannot help diagnose issues with Google Analytics or set up your Analytics account or use Analytics features.

ShopWired cannot help you to diagnose issues or problems that you think you might have with your website as a result of looking at Google Analytics data.

 

Google Merchant Center / Google Shopping

ShopWired can help you install the Google Feed and/or Google Shopping apps, and can help you with any associated functionality within your ShopWired account relating to these services.

ShopWired cannot help you to diagnose data quality issues or other problems with your Merchant Center account.

 

Google Search Console

ShopWired can help you to add a meta tag to your website for verifying domain ownership with Google Search Console.

ShopWired cannot help you with analysing data from Search Console or answer questions about reports that are available within Search Console.

ShopWired cannot help you to diagnose issues or problems that you think you might have with your website as a result of looking at Google Search Console data.

Where Google Search Console reports a problem with one of the following aspects of your website:

Page Experience
Core Web Vitals
Mobile Usability

or you would like to report a problem with a page on your website as a result of analysing it with the PageSpeed Insights tool, you must report this using the form at www.shopwired.co.uk/google-search-console. A member of the team will then contact you directly.

 

Facebook Business Manager / Selling On Facebook / Instagram (Meta)

ShopWired provides an XML feed of products that can be used to provide product data to Facebook Business Manager so that products can be listed for sale on Facebook or Instagram posts tagged with products.

ShopWired is unable to provide setup or support assistance on any aspect of Meta’s services outside of how to get the URL of the product feed (from within your ShopWired account).

Paid assistance

ShopWired provides a paid for setup and support service on certain third party services (including Google Analytics, Search Console and Merchant Center).

ShopWired Premium & Enterprise Packages

 

ShopWired’s Premium Package includes assistance with the following third party services:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Zapier (but not the apps that Zapier connects to)

This assistance is limited to setup assistance only.

This means that a specialist team member will offer you assistance in how to set up your account with the third party service yourself.

 

ShopWired’s Enterprise Packages includes the assistance provided by the Premium package plus ShopWired provides ‘1st line support’ on Google Analytics, Google Search Console and any third party service ShopWired offers a direct connection to through its apps.

‘1st line support’ is defined as:

  • Answering questions related to functionality
  • Where available, liaising with third party service support teams on your behalf
